A look into North Texas Cycling from one of its founders!
"North Texas Cycling is a fun, positive community of like minded people with the passion for cycling and enhancing their physical and mental fitness. Our group is there to provide fellow cyclists a place to be able to ask any questions, and our members sharing their knowledge and wisdom with them, and converse on all things cycling. We like all types of cycling, our main focus on the endurance road bike rally's in the North Texas region. We setup tents with refreshments, snacks, chairs, and bike racks at key events for our members to kick back, relax and share stories after their ride. We have no fees, we do provide a way to donate if a member would like at the events we setup at.
One of our main goals is to help our members online find other cyclists, group rides, and events to go to and meet and ride with their fellow cyclists out in the real world, and become friends".

ChristianCycling.org is celebrating its 40th anniversary while our Spoke Christian Cycling - Texas will be celebrating its 4th anniversary in 2026. ChristianCycling is Christ centered and focused on sharing the Gospel of Christ to all. We share to our fellow cyclists that no matter what race, rally, or crit that you are in - that you have already won in Christ Jesus. Christian Cycling - Texas also focuses on serving our fellow cyclists as volunteers in rallies and events by running rest stops, SAG, and set up and clean up crew members.
Our ministry has been very blessed over the years with new members and as we call them, "reps" or representatives. We focus most of our riding in Irving at Campion Trails and at White Rock Lake. We are not an exclusive club as we share to everyone that Salvation through Christ alone is all inclusive in Titus 2:11. We have members from every major club in the DFW area and we encourage our members to ride with their clubs and to go forth as commanded by the Lord in Matthew 5:13-16 to be the salt and the light of the world.
Savage cycling would like to thank you Art Garcesa for all you do with Christian Cycling and the community.
Carlos Soriano started his cycling history at the age of 12. When starting middle school when he was in Mar Del Plata. Carlos got seated with Leandro Gromas who was the son of A local custom frameset builder named Rico. Who was a track cyclist since age 8/9. He invited Carlos to a watch him race and that was it.. hooked for life!!
He became a track racer by the end of the year. And was fortunate enough to have Rico as a sponsor.(only sponsor). Which meant great deals on bikes!! lol. After that he became a short distance time trialist 1k,5k races and finally became u17 state champion on the 1k race days before his 17th birthday. A personal tragedy made him leave cycling by age 19 for 8 years before he ever got on a bike again.
By then Carlos was living in Texas and started getting back into Cycling. While balancing life and cycling, Carlos is a fantastic family man, but that doesn’t stop at home. Carlos love the people he cycles with and would do anything for them.
Carlos is one of the Founders of Dallascyclholics which can be seen riding at WhiteRock lake. Yes if you are looking for a group that will challenge you to get better all while riding with friends that are closer than family. Thank you Carlos for being an impact to the cycling community.
